Construction Manager

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities from inception to completion
  • Oversee project schedules and ensure that project milestones are achieved in accordance with timelines
  • Manage the procurement of materials and ensure that quality standards are met while staying within budget
  • Supervise site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, addressing any potential issues immediately
  • Collaborate with project planners and engineers to resolve any technical problems during construction
  • Establish and maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders and external contractors
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for projects, including reports on budgets, timelines, and progress updates for upper management

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction management, particularly in hospitality or residential projects
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and leading teams effectively
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost control, and project management
  • Familiarity with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools
  • Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken) is required
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
