Commsquare is currently looking for a
Senior Accounting & Finance Manager (AFM)
. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all financial, and accounting activities and for the diligent reporting towards local authorities and the Commsquare Group HQ. The AFM will also play an important role in ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's day-to-day operations.

The AFM will be reporting to the local and the Group CEO and will be working closely with the company's HR Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team;
  • Oversee accounting processes and procedures, ensure timely compliance with fiscal requirements in Greece, prepare and/or supervise financial reporting and ensure all reports are delivered in an accurate and timely manner
  • Manage and perform cash-flow, budgeting and cash forecasting, advise management on long-term business and financial planning
  • Establish financial reporting processes and procedure to ensure consistency and compliance with internal controls and policies, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and perform recurrent financial reporting towards the Commsquare Group HQ
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders;
  • Liaise with legal external partners and HQ
  • Collaborate with HR management
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on long-term planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and promote a high-performance culture.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement cost-effective and scalable solutions.
  • Report regularly on company performance and recommend process enhancements.
  • Support organizational change management, risk management, and sustainability efforts.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a senior leadership or operational roles in Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
  • Proven track record in working with Accounting and ERP systems.
  • Proven track record in managing business operations and team leading.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of lean/agile methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • High integrity and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
