Our experienced and specialized accountants can assist with solutions to structural issues, business functionality recommendations, Legal form design, and computerization suggestions. We also provide support in the creation of new corporations, and evaluation of investments and acquisitions. Our business advice is based on the rules of management, strategy, and experience.
Role Description
The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site role located in Athens. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining and reviewing financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing general ledger accounts. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing VAT reports. It also necessary to upload and fulfill necessary procedures for mydata platform. Important part of the role will be managing a team of 5 accountants and monitoring their performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Epsilon Net software, Softone etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
- Fluency in Greek and English
