Description

We at Nova, a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for a dynamic Financial Analyst to be part of Technology & Operations Financial Control team. 

You have a challenging mission for: 

Supporting our financial planning efforts by turning data into clear insights, helping keep budgets and forecasts on track, and working with teams across the business to strengthen day‑to‑day financial performance.

What you will do:

  • Monitor and analyze operating and capital costs, comparing actuals against budget and forecasts.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision‑making.
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust budget and forecasting models for both OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Act as a business partner to cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment on cost monitoring and supporting them in meeting budgeting and performance goals.
  • Produce ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports to support Group-level requirements and internal management needs

It would be great if you have:

  • University Degree in Finance or a related field (a postgraduate degree will be considered an asset)
  • 3–4 years of experience in a similar role (previous experience in the telecommunications sector will be considered an advantage)
  • Solid understanding of P&L structure, financial reporting and analysis, basic to intermediate accounting principles, IFRS framework, and strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, solid financial‑modelling capabilities, and the ability to work accurately and deliver on time
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, adaptability, and the ability to support decision‑making and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
