Ethniki Asfalistiki is looking for a
Continuous Improvement Professional
who will apply Lean and process improvement methodologies to analyze, simplify, and modernize business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate combines a hands-on, results-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, evolving environment.

Role Overview
The role focuses on identifying and delivering process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience, while supporting the organization's broader transformation journey. The specialist will play a key role in promoting Continuous Improvement and Simplification culture and in supporting initiatives related to process digitization and automation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze and redesign business processes applying Lean and process improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance performance.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and root cause analysis sessions with business teams.
  • Lead or support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, track progress, and ensure that benefits are measured and sustained.
  • Promote process simplification and standardization to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Maintain and continuously update the organization's process library, ensuring documentation consistency and accessibility.
  • Identify and evaluate digital enablement and automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, workflow tools, AI-driven enhancements) together with the IT and business teams.
  • Contribute to training and awareness activities that strengthen Lean and CI culture across the organization.
  • Support process-related risk assessments and improvement action plans.

Candidate Job Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Business Process Reengineering roles, ideally within financial services, insurance, or other complex service organizations.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving (A3, DMAIC).
  • Experience in business process mapping and redesign (familiarity with BPMN is considered an asset).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify improvement opportunities, and translate insights into tangible actions.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation concepts, including automation (RPA), workflow tools, or AI-driven process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in both Greek and English, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
  • Strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Power BI or project management tools is a plus.
  • Professional, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a passion for driving process improvement and operational excellence.
  • No pending military obligations (for male Greek citizens).
