The Line Manager ensures the staff under his/her responsibility, delivers services on time, with high quality standards and within agreed budget, for applicable department of Excelya. Manages all persons under his/her responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:

• The manager is responsible for the management, evaluation, development and retention of supervised staff.
• Assesses resources requirements and allocates members under his/her responsibility accordingly and coordinates their activities. In charge of resourcing and planning for his/her team.
• Ensures supervised staff are adequately trained and act in compliance with all applicable Excelya and/or client's SOPs, policies, applicable guidelines, and regulations, following expected quality compliance standards.
• Identifies training needs and collaborates with Human Resources and/or QA department for training activities and supports HR/QA department in implementing internal training.
• Assists in audits and inspections and in the preparation of CAPA plan.
• Escalates quality issues to Head of department and QA.
• Supports the implementation of CAPA plan.
• Ensures that supervised staff meets the expected study timelines and deliverables, within the agreed budget.
• Supports direct reports with resolution of any relevant issues and study risk management plans.

Requirements

About you:

• Experience: Over 6 years in the clinical research area, experience in managing people, planning activities and identifying risks as study team member.
• Skills: Excellent communication and organization skills, understanding of project financials, project management practices and terminology, ability to organize resources, task oriented with time management skills, proficient computer skills.
• Education: University or College graduate (bachelor's degree in life and/or health sciences is preferred).
• Languages: Fluency in English and Greek language.
