About the job

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Financial Markets and Investment Compliance team. In this role, you will drive the development and maintenance of robust compliance frameworks that anticipate and mitigate regulatory risks across diverse financial markets and investment products. Through comprehensive risk assessments and continuous monitoring and reporting, you will deliver actionable insights and strategic guidance to stakeholders, ensuring the organization remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry regulations.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting financial markets, investment products, trading activities, and client services.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on market conduct, suitability requirements, and other regulatory matters.
• Support onboarding of new investment products by ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external partners as needed.
• Prepare and deliver compliance training to staff across the organization.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Finance/Banking, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• MSc in relevant areas will be considered an asset.
• 3- 6 years of relevant professional experience in compliance within investment firms, financial markets, wealth management, or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, MAD/MAR, MiCA, SEC/FINRA rules, or relevant local regulations).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
