Technical Support Engineer - Athens - Piraeus

We are working with a Global Leader in Satellite Communications, who are looking to add a talented Technical Support Engineer to their team of 9 Engineers, looking to provide critical support for their Maritime services.

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an international client base, working with some of the top maritime engineers in their industry

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to global clients
  • Handle technical tickets on their company ticketing system Hubspot
  • Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring a high level of services
    1. Work closely with senior engineers on escalated issues, giving the opportunity for career growth
  • Use and maintain Microsoft Office tools
  • Participate in an On-Cal rotation once every 8 weeks (paid dependent on workload)

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience of technical support
  • Strong troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to learn new processes and technology at a fast rate
  • Excellent English, oral and written skills, to communicate with clients worldwide
  • Confident phone skills and good soft skills
