Service Engineer (Maritime)

Athens

€40,000 - €45,000 gross based salary + Overtime + Additional travel pay (Total earnings circa €50,000 -€56,000) + Up to 26 days holiday + Pension + Private Medical + Phone + Laptop

This company are a maritime specialist supplying cargo and loading handling solutions into merchant, naval, port and offshore markets. Due to expansion they are looking to grow their market share and expand their specialist division working on a wide variety of Marine projects.

In this role the person will be working at customer locations, primarily in the Mediterranean. You will be working on inspection, troubleshooting or repair projects for clients. You will need to be customer facing in the role and provide an excellent service to customers. All stay away is fully compensated and overtime paid.

The person will come from a maritime/marine engineering background with experience of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineering. You will need to speak fluent English and have an excellent customer manner. Flexibility and willing to stay away from work is essential in this role.

The role:

*Travel to customer sites across the Mediterranean and other locations

*Inspection, Troubleshooting and repair projects

*Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic Engineering work

*50%+ travel including staying away from home

The person:

*Maritime/marine engineering background

*Transferable engineering experience

*Fluent English Speaker

*Comfortable travelling and flexible with their schedule
