Head Chef

Job Brief and Purpose:
We are currently looking for a passionate Head Chef.
As part of our team your role is to ensure that our guests have an exceptional culinary experience every day.
- Coaches and counsels team members to reflect the department's cooking standards and procedures.
- Ensuring the correct set up, handover and breakdown of the kitchen.
- Accountable for short and long-term planning of the department's needs.
- Comply with company, HACCP and other legislative regulations.
- Develops and recommends budgets, labor cost plans and objectives and manages functions within those approved plans.
- Able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Able to build a team which he/she will be inspiring daily.
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are being met.
- Ability to work at a high level of performance
- Previous experience in 5-star luxury properties or international hotel brands.
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Attention to detail and a structured way of working
- Excellent English language skills
- Able to set priorities, plan, organize, delegate and control.
