As an
Experienced Audit Professional
within our Audit practice, your role will involve overseeing the following tasks:
Responsibilities
- Develop deliverables/areas of an Engagement/Project and deliver quality outputs while helping review the work of less experienced members of the Engagement/Project team
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of engagements, which includes developing work plans, timelines, project management, and resource allocation.
- Handle small engagements depending on experience and business area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with middle to senior level staff, internally and externally
- Being responsible for the day-to-day fieldwork and keep senior engagement members updated on the progress of the Audit.
- Understand accounting and technical issues and applying professional auditing standards.
- Act as a role model for less experienced members of the team and provide on the job training.
- Continuously improve in quality and efficiency by innovating and using technology.
- Deliver report writing, presentations and proposal preparations with acceptable level of guidance.
- Attend client meetings and learning to facilitate internal/client discussions via seeking and sharing perspectives.
- Develop expertise and knowledge on a variety of clients and markets, and awareness of KPMG's services.
- Contribute to the development of case studies, proposals, deliverables, or other valuable audit best-practices and ensuring such knowledge is recorded appropriately to enable access and use by others within the Firm.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or relative subjects.
- MSc in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, will be considered an asset.
- At least 2-3 years of prior external Audit working experience.
- Professional qualification in progress. Completed professional qualification will be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Eagerness to learn through a positive attitude and to provide quality professional work.
- Analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
