About the role

As a Manager in Learning and Development within our Center of Excellence for Talent, Culture, and Engagement, you will have the opportunity to impact the learning and development strategy within the organization. In this global role, based in Athens, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing learning and development initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

You'll collaborate with local and global HR teams to enhance our learning practices and improve the learner experience. Reporting to our Senior Manager - Learning and Development, and collaborating with the Director of the Center of Excellence, you'll support our broader talent strategy, making a significant impact on the growth and success of our organization. Some of your key responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Alignment

  • Implement the global Learning and Development (L&D) strategy in alignment with business objectives, ensuring adaptation to local market needs.
  • Drive the execution of experiential learning solutions through content and curriculum development, training facilitation, and learning analytics.

Learning Technology Management

  • Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and content-authoring tools to design, administer, track, and report on training programs and learner progress.
  • Ensure the effective integration of learning technologies to support scalable, data-driven decision-making.

Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor, assess, and continuously improve learning solutions to ensure they remain innovative, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Enhance the learner experience by adopting customer-centric approaches and implementing best practices.

Process Standardization and Vendor Management

  • Maintain the learning solutions alignment process to ensure efficiency, best practices, and adherence to business goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, conduct audits, and implement quality assurance strategies to deliver high-quality, compliant learning solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in the Learning & Development field are a plus. 
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a corporate Learning and Development role supporting leadership capability building, with a background in executing on strategies for key functions within large, multinational organizations. (exposure to a global Centre of Excellence is preferred).
  • Fluent in English [both verbal and written] with excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for diverse audiences in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing experiential learning solutions across geographies and audience levels, leveraging emerging learning technology.
  • Strong experience with using learning management systems (LMS) and content-authoring tools for creating, delivering, and tracking training programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with skills to interpret data, metrics, and trends to make informed recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Passion for learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
