How you will contribute to EveryPay's vision

EveryPay is looking for an experienced, high-skilled Regulatory Compliance Associate to join a fast-growing business. The jobholder will report to the Company's Head of Compliance.

What you will be doing:

  • Be involved in providing regulatory compliance advice to management, business owners and rest stakeholders with respect to all day -to- day operational and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the continuous mapping & monitoring in legal and regulatory framework (e.g. PSD II) and participate in the development of regulatory compliance roadmaps
  • Be in charge regarding the development, implementation and monitoring of the Annual Compliance Action Plan based on risk assessment methodology
  • Develop, implement, and update internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and notifications in a timely manner
  • Participate in the execution of ad- hoc compliance audits to ensure that internal processes and policies are applied, identify control gaps and processes improvement opportunities
  • Analyze the non-compliance findings and prepare reports according to the Head of Compliance and regulatory bodies requests indicating trends and/or proposing actions for improvement
  • Liase with internal functions, monitor legislation, draft and/or review policies and procedures applicable to EveryPay Operations and products as per compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the complaints management and whistleblowing reports
  • Respond to ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs that are not specifically or previously described and are related to the content of current job and the personal skills and capabilities

What will you need to succeed:

  • BSc preferably in Law or BSc degree in Banking, Business Admininstration or other closely related field in combination with relevant experience of at least 4 years
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services, payments, or fintech industry
  • Legal Background with similar experience will be considered as a strong plus
  • In depth knowledge of financial services regulations and in particular payments' regulations & supervision (e.g. PSD2, EBA guidelines, acquiring & issuing business, DORA Regulation).
  • Professional qualification relevant to the assigned area, will be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of payments products and services
  • Knowledge of project management systems (e.g. ASANA) and experience working with specific goals (OKRs/ KPIs) will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent use of MS Office
  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
