UI/UX Expert

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a UI/UX Expert to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Create and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience
• Develop and implement UI/UX strategies that align with project goals and user needs
• Maintain and update design systems, ensuring consistency across all projects
• Document design processes, decisions, and guidelines to ensure transparency and facilitate collaboration
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure design consistency and quality

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT
• Minimum of 5 years in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to various stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working on EU-funded projects or within the EU regulatory framework would be a plus
• Experience working on UK government projects, including experience with the GDS framework, would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be an asset
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA
