ATCOM S.A. is responsible for numerous large and notable web projects and solutions in Greece, in a variety of sectors, such as large e-commerce and travel sites, intranets, news portals or other large-scale web applications, for the private and public sector.

Our design department is rooted in the principles of Universal Design, ensuring that accessibility and inclusion are integrated into the very foundation of our process, not treated as afterthoughts. We're now looking for a certified Web Accessibility Expert to strengthen our practice and help us take inclusive digital experiences to the next level.

As a Web Accessibility Expert, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive accessibility audits and generating high-quality reports for complex web and mobile applications. You will serve as the go-to specialist on WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance and assist in embedding accessibility best practices into our workflows. You will also play a vital role in educating our team and clients, helping foster a culture of digital inclusion.

Requirements

As a Web Accessibility Expert you will:

• Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits (web and mobile) in accordance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA or higher.
• Deliver clear, actionable, and well-documented accessibility reports.
• Provide expert guidance during design, development, and QA phases to ensure accessibility is built-in from the ground up.
• Lead internal workshops, trainings, and 1:1 coaching sessions to improve accessibility knowledge across teams.
• Educate clients on accessibility principles, regulations, and implementation practices.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for projects when not engaged in active accessibility work.
• Stay updated on accessibility laws, standards, and emerging best practices (e.g., EN , ADA, Section 508).

Requirements

• Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from IAAP (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting accessibility audits for large-scale, high-traffic websites and/or mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA, assistive technologies, and common accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, Accessibility Insights).
• Experience with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
• Familiarity with accessibility requirements for native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Ability to explain complex accessibility concepts in a clear and practical way to non-specialists.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Will be considered as a plus

• Additional certifications such as CPACC or CPWA (IAAP).
• Background in front-end development or UX/UI design with accessibility focus.
