PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece, is currently seeking to hire a Business Applications Analyst for Energy Management Systems on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector.

The Business Application Analyst plays a crucial role in addressing business needs through IT solutions, focusing primarily on Energy Management applications and secondarily on core corporate applications. They are responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting these systems. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and ensuring system reliability by conducting proactive testing, managing releases, and providing user support.

Requirements

  • BSc in IT or a Business-related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in IS Business Analysis, Design, and support for Business Applications, ideally within the Utilities, Services, or Telecom sectors.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum projects as a product owner.
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner Certification (PSPO I) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in refining product backlogs, setting sprint goals, and managing sprint priorities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure DevOps, and JIRA Software.
  • Strong IS analysis and design capabilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts into business terms.
  • Good understanding of business process implementations across enterprise-wide applications.
  • Solid reporting and analytical skills.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
