Chief Cybersecurity Specialist

The IT Security Engineer role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT security systems and implementing policies and procedures for Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all IT security infrastructure and system issues
• Evaluate weaknesses, threats, and risks concerning the information systems infrastructure
• Address potential security gaps
• Manage existing security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR, etc.) and collaborate with Security Operations Centers, reviewing their monthly reports
• Perform security updates on operating systems, applications, and devices
• Suggest improvements to the existing security framework
• Collaborate with software development teams, infrastructure suppliers, and application/product providers on a technical level, verifying their compliance with the scope of responsibilities
• Participate in the development of corporate Information Security and Cybersecurity projects and applications
• Collaborate with the Group CISO and keep them updated
• Keep abreast of advancements in Cybersecurity
• Prepare the Annual Information Security Report

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Master's degree with a specialization in information systems security
• At least 3 years of previous work experience in the field of information security / cybersecurity and managing-maintaining cybersecurity products
• Certifications in information security products such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet
• Professional certifications related to information security / cybersecurity (e.g. CCNP Security, ISO 27001 LA, CISSP, GIAC)
