Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

IT Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT security systems and implementing policies and procedures for Cybersecurity.

• Monitor all IT security infrastructure and systems issues, evaluate weaknesses, threats, and risks concerning the information systems infrastructure.
• Address potential security gaps, manage existing security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR, etc.) and collaborate with Security Operations Centers reviewing their monthly reports.
• Perform security updates on operating systems, applications, and devices, suggest improvements to the existing security framework.
• Collaborate with software development teams, infrastructure suppliers, and application/product providers on a technical level verifying their compliance with the scope of responsibilities.
• Participate in the development of corporate Information Security and Cybersecurity projects and applications, keep abreast of advancements in Cybersecurity.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Master's degree with specialization in information systems security, at least 3 years of previous work experience in the field of information security/cybersecurity and managing-maintaining cybersecurity products.
• Certifications in information security products such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, professional certifications related to information security/cybersecurity (e.g. CCNP Security, ISO 27001 LA, CISSP, GIAC).
