As a Host/Hostess at Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you will be instrumental in crafting memorable dining moments that leave lasting impressions.

You will play a pivotal role in managing seating assignments, waitlists, and guest flow, ensuring seamless operations that cater to the unique needs of each guest. With a keen eye for detail, you will present menus with clarity and enthusiasm, offering thoughtful food and beverage pairing recommendations that delight even the most discerning palates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
  2. Expertly manage seating assignments, waitlists, and guest flow to optimize dining room operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  3. Assist with reservations, special requests, and personalized arrangements, demonstrating a deep understanding of our restaurant's offerings and capabilities.
  4. Liaise seamlessly with service and culinary teams to guarantee accurate order delivery and a smooth, coordinated dining experience.
  5. Present menus with clarity and enthusiasm, offering thoughtful food and beverage pairing recommendations that delight our guests.
  6. Monitor guest movement and table turnover proactively, minimizing wait times while maintaining service excellence.
  7. Maintain an immaculate and organized front-of-house environment that reflects the luxury and elegance of our brand.
  8. Address guest inquiries, comments, and concerns with professionalism and discretion, ensuring timely resolution and overall satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role within a luxury restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems is an advantage.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and excellence in service.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
