As an Assistant Maître, you will support the Maître in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring each guest receives a seamless and memorable dining experience. Your role will involve assisting in the supervision of dining room staff, coordinating service flow, and upholding the highest standards of food and beverage service. Responsibilities- Assist the Maître in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and seamless organization.
- Contribute to the training and supervision of dining room staff, offering guidance and support in their duties.
- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus while providing knowledgeable insight into menu offerings.
- Continuously monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Help coordinate reservations and manage guest seating to maximize dining room flow and efficiency.
- Work in close collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of dishes.
- Maintain a clean, refined, and well-organized dining space that reflects the hotel's luxury standards.
- Support the Maître in enforcing health, safety, and hygiene protocols to uphold a safe and elegant dining environment.
- Support the Restaurant Maitre with reporting, shift summaries, guest feedback logs, and system entries (Micros/Opera/ResDiary)
- Ensure service standards are aligned with Hilton's luxury brand guidelines and LQA expectations.
- Monitor service KPIs and guest feedback to continually refine the experience.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- A degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, along with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with fine wines and the ability to provide recommendations to enhance guest meals.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Greek; additional languages are advantageous.
