Job Title: Refugee Protection Officer Specialist

The Refugee Protection Officer Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing protection strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of forcibly displaced persons. This involves working closely with government authorities, NGOs, and local communities to identify and respond to protection needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits to assess protection needs and develop appropriate responses.
- Collaborate with government officials and other stakeholders to promote refugee rights and ensure compliance with international standards.
- Provide training and capacity-building initiatives for government officials, NGOs, and local communities on protection issues.
- Monitor and report on protection incidents and trends, identifying areas for improvement in response efforts.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in International Law, Political Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in refugee protection, including case management and community engagement.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in another UN language (optional).
