Job Title: Descriptive Analytics Expert

Job Description

The Reporting and Analytics team at our organization is seeking a skilled Descriptive Analytics Consultant to join their ranks. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering comprehensive analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across multiple domains.

  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics concepts, including relational and multidimensional database management, and experience with standard reporting front-ends such as Microsoft Excel pivot tables.
  • They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • A Day in the Life of a Descriptive Analytics Consultant at our organization would involve engaging with clients to understand their needs, identifying opportunities for further adoption of our analytics capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree plus at least two years' experience in an analytics or technical consulting role;
  • Excellent grasp of day-to-day credit portfolio management processes, in the context of banking, collections or debt servicing operations;
  • Familiarity with the processes to which our product contributes is an absolute prerequisite, as is a willingness to challenge the established state of the art in this area in a respectful and consistent way;
  • Knowledge of SQL is not a prerequisite, but will be appreciated;
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as a tool for report prototyping and data exploration;
  • Knowledge of other data presentation front ends (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is desirable but not indispensable;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and cooperation skills in Greek and English;
  • Being able to gain the client's trust through your presence, your ability to identify and articulate their needs, and the consistency and clarity of your writing is a key aspect of this role, as is acting as a champion for both the product and the client.
