Senior Data Analyst Position

The company is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of data analysts, developing domain expertise across an area at the company, and providing analytical support to teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a small team of data analysts.
  • Become a domain expert across an area at the company.
  • Provide analytical support to teams.
  • Help teams identify opportunities to focus on.
  • Propose and define success KPIs.
  • Guide teams towards data-driven decision making.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketeers to impact size opportunities and estimate the impact once released.
  • Produce deep dive analysis that influences the trajectory of the team's roadmap.
  • Data modeling and analysis of key concepts, KPIs, and patterns using dbt, BigQuery, and SQL.
  • Create interactive and informative dashboards and reports in Looker.
  • Plan, implement, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new product features against KPIs.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical intuition with the ability to solve complex problems and extract actionable insights from data.
  • Potential to grow as a manager and ability to demonstrate the qualities needed to be an effective mentor.
  • Ability to work independently and with rigour while optimising for impact.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration (product, engineering, design, marketing) translating business requirements into strong technical solutions.
  • Value attention to detail and know how to balance quality and speed.
  • Impact driven, love a challenge, and have a self-starter mindset.
  • Team-oriented, keen to share knowledge and grow professionally.
  • Previous experience on fintech, B2C digital businesses, and/or fast-paced scale-up environments is very valued.
