Job Description

We established our Shared Service Center in Greece to streamline our financial operations and support our entities across Europe. We're seeking an Accounts Receivable Financial Specialist to execute cash applications activities efficiently and effectively in compliance with company policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Applying incoming cash to outstanding invoices
  • Generating financial reports related to accounts receivable, including aging reports, cash collections, and bad debt analysis
  • Ensuring that all queries are logged, including unidentified payments, short payments, overpayments, and inadequate invoice data
  • Reconciling our accounts receivable with customers' accounts to minimize disputed invoices
  • Evaluating and reviewing accounts receivable balances through Statement of Accounts Mass Sending, including accounts analysis and review of cash deductions
  • Making recommendations for process improvement
  • Providing feedback to ensure that processes meet business requirements in an automated and user-friendly manner

You will also be responsible for maintaining customer master data and developing specialist skills with respect to strategic customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fluency in English, French, and German would be a plus
  • Shared Services Background / Multinational Company is advantageous
  • Accuracy and detail orientation

  • Customer Service Orientation
  • Collaboration with other team members
