Accounting ERP Specialist Position

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team as an Accounting ERP Specialist. If you're passionate about accounting and enjoy improving financial processes through software solutions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

  • This role involves acting as the key liaison between clients and the development team, translating accounting processes into ERP configurations and technical requirements.
  • You will process client financial data and workflows to configure Odoo ERP accounting modules, including chart of accounts, tax and journal setups, fixed assets, landed costs, expenses, and suspense accounts.
  • Your task will also include advising clients and developers on complex accounting topics, ensuring ERP compliance with Greek tax regulations.
  • You will provide training and ongoing support to both clients and internal teams to ensure confident use and adoption of the accounting ERP system.
  • Sometimes you will need to support and customize MyData and E-Books features within the ERP to ensure up-to-date digital accounting compliance.
  • You will guide users on generating accurate and compliant financial reports through Odoo, including profit & loss, trial balance, VIES, Intrastat, etc.
  • You will monitor legislative changes and regulatory updates, promptly communicating ERP-related deadlines and requirements to the development and project teams.
  • You will test and validate accounting-related ERP features developed by the technical team before deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent from a reputable institution
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant role or in an accounting agency
  • Familiarity with at least one ERP accounting system
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and oral
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
