As an Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and compliance with regulatory standards.

About This Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field, Class A Accountant Certification, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Ensure all financial reports meet internal deadlines and regulatory standards with precision.
  • Uphold consistency and compliance in accounting methods and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to maintain accuracy and reliability in balance sheets and reconciliations.
  • Monitor profit and loss accounts, ensuring proper bookkeeping practices.
  • Oversee tax submissions, coordinate mitigation plans, and support tax audits as needed.
  • Lead external and internal audits, driving resolution of findings.
  • Foster open communication across teams, contributing to a collaborative work culture.
  • Support group initiatives and ensure successful implementation at the local level.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A detailed understanding of Greek Accounting Standards, IFRS, and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience in financial reporting.
  • Native fluency in Greek and strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • A detail-oriented mindset and solid analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector is a valuable bonus.
