Financial Management Professional

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Management Professional to oversee all accounting operations with a special focus on cost tracking and registration for construction projects. This role is vital to ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with tax regulations, and effective cost control across multiple ongoing projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Accurate cost registration and allocation of expenses to individual construction projects.
  • Maintenance of organized financial records and documentation for each project, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation and analysis of project-specific cost reports, comparing actual vs. budgeted expenses.
  • Regular bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
  • Collaboration with project managers and engineers to gather financial data and monitor project budgets.
  • Generation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Assistance in forecasting and budgeting activities, with a focus on cash flow management and liquidity planning.
  • Liaison with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants to ensure compliance with local tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Regular financial updates and insights to senior management team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Proven experience in real estate accounting and finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both in written and oral communication.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
