Resort Operations Manager Job Opportunity

The role of Resort Operations Manager is a vital position that oversees the day-to-day operations of our luxury resort in Mykonos. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, service, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in driving customer satisfaction, managing teams, and optimizing the resort's performance in a highly competitive market. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating a schedule of necessary tasks for pre-opening, supervising execution, and making corrective actions if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a schedule of tasks for pre-opening and supervise their execution.
  • Welcome guests, perform check-ins according to resort standards, and guide them to their apartments.
  • Communicate daily with guests, address issues, and fulfill requests.
  • Conduct check-outs and gather feedback on the guest experience.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as day-end closing, invoicing, filing documents, and updating internal systems.
  • Coordinate the receipt of materials and services in collaboration with the Procurement department.
  • Participate in staff selection in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Organize and conduct staff training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Report incidents and issues to Management and relevant departments, according to procedures.
  • Collaborate with the resort's Safety Officer to ensure safety regulation compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a Higher Education Institution with a focus on Tourism or Hospitality Management.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in PMS PROTEL is a mandatory requirement.
  • Familiarity with online booking systems.
  • Knowledge of OPERA software is a plus.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (both spoken and written).
