The Sales Manager at PHĀEA is responsible for actively soliciting and managing sales opportunities, focusing on long-term customer relationships, and achieving sales objectives. This role involves coordinating with off-property sales channels, building, and strengthening customer relationships, and managing sales activities.

Job Fit- Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director to develop and implement targeted sales strategies aligned with PHĀEA's market objectives and overall business goals.
  • Lead and manage group sales activities with exceptional service and tailored proposals, ensuring seamless coordination to attract and convert luxury group business.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients through sales calls, online presentations, hosting FAM trips, and conducting site inspections.
  • Represent PHĀEA at luxury travel industry events and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and networking.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering personalized service and maintaining high standards of customer care.
  • Collaborate with PHĀEA's marketing team on promotional materials, campaigns, and special offers.
  • Oversee and manage contracting processes with travel partners, luxury consortia, and key accounts, securing favorable terms aligned with PHĀEA's premium positioning and revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with the credit controller on client payments and financial transactions.
  • Explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance revenue generation.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales performance.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and shifts, understanding client preferences and demands.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, ideally with a focus on luxury hospitality and premium clientele.
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality trends, guest preferences, and market dynamics.
  • Solid experience handling group sales in luxury hospitality, from prospecting and negotiating to coordinating bookings with high-end clients and partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Proficiency in English
  • Open to travelling regularly internationally/local for business purposes.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Multilingual skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (Opera)
