Senior Culinary Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to lead our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Operations Management: Assist in coordinating kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality food standards.
  • Culinary Expertise: Execute dishes according to recipes and specifications, monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Staff Training and Development: Supervise kitchen team, provide guidance and training on cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8-9 years in a luxury hospitality environment with at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent certification, thorough knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Skills: Menu planning, cost control, inventory management, creativity in menu design, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
