Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary innovation and a strong background in recipe development, menu creation, and sensory evaluation. They will be responsible for creating new recipes to improve food products, designing marketing strategies based on their approach, and leading kitchen innovation efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Culinary Innovation and Recipe Development: Create and experiment with new recipes to align with fine dining standards, refine taste profiles through rigorous experimentation, and develop innovative ideas from food preparation processes.
  • Research and Development: Assist in data gathering and analysis for new menu item specifications, establish product specifications, conduct sensory evaluations, and review ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all recipes and processes meet food safety regulations and quality standards, review methods to continuously improve the quality and presentation of dishes, and troubleshoot preparation and production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar R&D culinary leadership role.
  • Strong background in recipe development, menu creation, and sensory evaluation.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
