Plant Operator for Primary Production

Sol Group is a leading organization in the chemical industry, committed to delivering high-quality products while ensuring a safe working environment.

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at our primary production unit. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about operating and maintaining industrial equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth production of volumes required, while monitoring the output and quality of the manufactured product. They will also take responsibility for people, property, and environmental safety, as well as risk prevention, and compliance with health regulations.

The new Air Separation Unit in Sindos will operate 24/7, and the plant operator will work in rotating shifts according to schedules set by the plant manager. They will oversee plant operations using a DCS interface within the control room.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Monitoring and managing process equipment parameters to meet production specifications and targets
  • Troubleshooting causes of plant operational issues and alarms
  • Participating in the maintenance and updating of plant and equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining production operations and distribution records

This is a permanent job opportunity that requires a strong focus on safety, good judgment, and keen initiative. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation and experience in a production line is a plus. They should also have a solid grasp of health and safety rules and good communication skills.
