Digital Banking Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of digital banking applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices, as well as experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
Key Responsibilities- Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand digital banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications.
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years in UAT testing, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
- Strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
- Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
