Chief Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a key position for any organization looking to protect its assets and data from cyber threats. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that safeguard our systems and networks.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions

• Technical consultation services for clients

• Analyzing client requirements and translating them into actionable solutions

• Implementation and deployment of security solutions in client environments

• Creation of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures

• Effort estimations and assistance with drafting technical offers for prospect Cyber Security Projects

• Training and knowledge transfer for clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• A Master's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security or similar area is an asset
• 5+ years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or in a relevant role
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption
• Familiarity with network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
• Certifications like CISSP, Azure Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc. are considered a plus
• Good understanding of established Information Security frameworks (i.e., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Problem solving skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
