Key Role in Import Shipments

We are seeking a skilled Air Freight Operator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of import shipments for our clients.

  • Evaluate shipment details and documentation to ensure readiness for air freight import/export shipments.
  • Coordinate bookings with airlines, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate flight and loading instructions to carriers, and preparing/loading notes as necessary.
  • Maintain accuracy within our ERP system.
  • Generate and distribute required air freight documents, such as airway bills, delivery orders, and customs declarations.
  • Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to air freight shipments.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
  • Advanced business writing and oral skills in English.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business administration or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in Operations or relevant position.
  • Previous experience in the Air freight forwarding industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
