Accountant Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, with the ability to gather and analyze financial information.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile General Ledger, Vendor and Customer balances on a daily and monthly basis
  • Enter data for all transactions relevant to legal requirements
  • Monitor the smooth operation of accounting procedures and coordinate communication within the team to ensure accessible information
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and establish control procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant role with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and/or IFRS accounting standards
  • Proven working experience in ERP; knowledge of SAP – ERP is considered an asset
  • Excellent command of MS Office
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to details, accuracy and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to gather, plan and organize information to make informed decisions
