Basic Position Mission:

An exceptional opportunity in an industry-leading firm that is shaping the future of real estate and distressed investments in Greece. Ideal for ambitious candidates seeking immersion in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. The selected candidate will assist in driving the company's strategic initiatives, whilst gaining global exposure, handling a diverse range of high-value assets, and collaborating with seasoned industry experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly and year-end management and statutory reporting in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across entities responsible
• Reconciliation of managerial and statutory reports
• Supervisor adherence to compliance requirements
• Preparation and analysis of current and past trends in key indicators
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business plan process
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Review accounting bookings including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, VAT and tax reporting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Maintain supporting schedules or documentation associated with closing journal entries
• Ensure deadlines are monitored and met
• Monitor account reconciliations so that all balance sheet positions are supported monthly
• Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
• Developing, documenting and maintain accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls
• Support and collaborate with internal and external statutory and tax audits by providing necessary information and reports ensuring the prompt completion of the annual financial statement audit and tax certificate
• Ensures the company follows all financial reporting guidelines and procedures
• Set, monitor and implement organizational financial reporting control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Cash flow monitoring and cash reporting

Education, Skills, Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited college or university. MSc or MBA is considered as an asset.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferable in FP&A.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Advanced PC skills in Excel.
• Financial Modeling is considered a strong asset.
• Very good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Analytical thinking and critical ability.
• Teamwork mentality and ability to work independently.
• Attention-to-detail and Organizational skills.
