Hotel Security Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and alert Hotel Security Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional safety and security services in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Description:

  • Conduct regular patrols of all hotel areas, including public spaces, staff zones, and parking facilities, to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to suspicious or dangerous situations, ensuring the timely resolution of any incidents.
  • Provide support and assistance to guests and employees during emergencies, including administering first aid if certified, to ensure their well-being and safety.
  • Identify and report potential hazards or breaches of hotel security policies, taking proactive measures to prevent security incidents.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with local authorities and emergency services to ensure coordinated response efforts and effective communication.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions and stay informed on the latest security best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in security or related roles, preferably in the hospitality sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality security services.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and safety regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of guests and employees.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, employees, and external authorities.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional care and support in emergency situations.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, with additional languages being advantageous in a multicultural hotel environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of security and safety.
  • Physical fitness and ability to conduct patrols and stand for extended periods, demonstrating a willingness to take on physical challenges.
