Store Demand Planning Specialist

We are seeking a Store Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Store Forecasting & Replenishment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and release order proposals produced by the system (SAP F&R) for allocated stores, considering available stock, discrepancies, events, trends, and daily logistical information to secure optimal inventory levels and increase availability/sales.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Buying departments to create manual orders for allocated stores.
  • Interpret system exceptions, propose, and implement a fit solution depending on the situation.
  • Configure Demand Influencing Factors (DIFs) related to calendar events and promotions in the system for allocated stores.
  • Communicate and coordinate with allocated stores on a daily basis to provide store support for replenishment.
  • Produce and share relevant reports to ensure transparency of all relevant to F&R KPIs and SAP F&R functioning for allocated stores.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Logistics, Finance, Business Administration, or any relevant field. Master's degree would be considered an asset.
  • Working experience up to 2 years in retail store operations, supply chain, logistics, and/or demand planning.
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications. Experience in working with SAP or other ERP would be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English language.
