Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Airport Security Programme Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Airport Security Programmes at all Regional Airports on a daily basis.

  • Monitors and oversees the implementation of security policies, procedures and protocols across multiple airports;
  • Coordinates with airport stakeholders, including management and staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security-related matters;
  • Conducts regular security audits, inspections and investigations to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement;
  • Develops and implements corrective action plans to address identified security risks and gaps;
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure alignment and consistency in security practices;
  • Stays up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to aviation security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and maintains accurate records of security incidents, audit findings and corrective actions taken;
  • Develops and implements training programmes for airport staff on security procedures and protocols;
  • Collaborates with other departments to integrate security into overall airport operations;
  • Participates in interdepartmental projects and work groups to promote collaborative working and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. security, business administration, law enforcement);
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in airport security or a related field;
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing effective security programmes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
