About the Role:IT Internal Audit Manager

The IT Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for leading and executing audits that assess the effectiveness of technology controls, identify areas of risk, and recommend process improvements. This is a key role in ensuring the organization's technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute complex IT/Information Security audits, leveraging AI technologies to optimize audit processes;
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls in areas such as access management, change management, business continuity/disaster recovery, privacy, IT operations, and system development;
  • Ensure audit activities are in accordance with IIA Standards, COBIT, NIST, and other industry frameworks;
  • Actively participate and provide insights in the development of the IT Internal Audit Risk Assessment and annual audit planning, integrating sophisticated AI-driven risk assessment and analytics tools;
  • Conduct follow-up audits ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively, utilizing AI-enhanced tracking and reporting systems;
  • Prepare clear, concise, and insightful audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee;
  • Support external audits and other assurance initiatives as required;
Requirements:Audit Expert

To be considered you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field;
  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus;
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor);
  • CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CIA or other relevant certifications;
  • 7+ years of experience in auditing, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role in auditing/consulting firms or relevant industry positions;
  • Proven experience in managing audit processes based on compliance standards and regulatory frameworks;
  • Industry-specific experience in Banking (Issuing, Acquiring, Payments), FinTech, or Payment Service Providers (PSPs) is a plus;
  • Expert knowledge of recognized practices and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001/27002, GDPR);
  • Advanced proficiency in AI-driven audit analytics and data-processing tools.
