Job Overview:

  • Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Media Content Moderator to join our team in Athens, Greece. As a Social Media Content Moderator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and positive online environment by reviewing and moderating social media content according to our guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and categorize social media content based on specific guidelines
  • Ensure that all information uploaded by users follows the guidelines based on client policies
  • Make well-balanced decisions to be an effective advocate for the online community
  • Ensure high quality and safe experiences for both people and businesses
  • Apply a content policy to digital content and execute handling procedures with consistency
  • Assist customers via chat, email or phone (depending on the project)
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest solutions
  • Follow company and client procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Afrikaans
  • Very good English knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and soft skills, as well as problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use Windows Operating Systems, internet applications and MS Office
  • Solid team, and collaboration skills, work independently with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish self-beliefs from moderated content and policies
  • Be positive and proactive and have a desire for applying continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in Content Moderation, Social Media or Customer Support will be considered as an advantage
