Software Engineer - Environmental Sustainability

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions that promote environmental sustainability. Our flagship product provides visibility into greenhouse gas emissions, empowering businesses to understand and reduce their carbon footprint.

As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for developing new functionalities related to our GHG emissions visibility product offering. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that address business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Python and object-oriented design skills.
  • Design and implement data management systems, including geospatial data management and data quality testing.
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to provide suggestions and feature recognition within the platform.
RequirementsMust-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in a related field.
  • Practical knowledge of Python and object-oriented design skills.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (standard and cloud-based), SQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based OS's.
  • Strong and confident communicator in English.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience and knowledge of RESTful APIs or other Web Services.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation technologies (e.g., Docker).
