Senior Civil Engineer Position

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct civil engineering projects at construction sites, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with established design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Supervise engineering works at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess work for quality and conformity to standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare comprehensive site reports, daily logs, and other documentation related to construction progress.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying potential delays or overruns.
- Assist in the planning of construction activities, including resource allocation and scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the engineering team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks on-site.
- Manage construction materials and equipment efficiently while minimizing waste.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering or site engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities in Greek and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license may be preferred but not required.
