Supply Quality Assurance Coordinator Role

This is a challenging role that requires someone with exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities and an eye for detail to provide high-quality support to the Supply Quality Assurance department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all correspondence, reviewing vessels' incoming memos, updating SMS manuals and forms, handling documentation of vessels' entries into countries, preparing DTF for vessels, supporting audits and reviews processes, conducting SQE department filing, monitoring status and organizing/attending Company and vessel 3rd Party and Internal Audits attending to the closing of any findings, monitoring PSC inspections and closing of defects, monitoring and closing findings of Safety Meetings and carrying out revisions to ISM Manuals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Supply Quality Assurance department
  • Review and coordinate all vessels' incoming memos
  • Update SMS manuals and forms
  • Handle documentation of vessels' entries into countries
  • Prepare DTF for vessels
  • Support audits and reviews processes
  • Conduct SQE department filing
  • Monitor status and organize/attend Company and vessel 3rd Party and Internal Audits attending to the closing of any findings
  • Monitor PSC inspections and closing of defects
  • Monitor and close findings of Safety Meetings
  • Carry out revisions to ISM Manuals
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Shipping/Maritime or a related field
  • Relevant experience in an SQE Department (SMS manuals, vetting, PSC, audits)
  • Computer literacy, preferably with experience using Danaos Software
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Efficiency in troubleshooting, organizing skills, attention to detail
