Senior Food Industry Quality Assurance Specialist

About us
Job Title: Quality and R&D ManagerWe are seeking a skilled professional to oversee all production processes and ensure the highest quality standards are met while driving innovation through research and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor operations on the factory floor to gain an in-depth understanding of all production processes and product specifications.
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and R&D departments to ensure alignment with our strategic goals.
- Develop and implement quality systems and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations (ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS, etc.).
- Drive R&D initiatives for new product development, recipe optimization and improvement of existing product lines.
- Oversee audits (internal, external, customer) and ensure prompt implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent product quality and cost efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in Quality Management and R&D roles within the food industry.
- Demonstrated skills in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 22000, ISO 9001, BRC, IFS, Certified Food Safety Management System HACCP ELOT 1416, Quality Management DIN EN 9001:2000).
- Strong computer skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
