Engineer - Plant Operator for Primary Production Unit

Key Responsibilities
Plant operators oversee the production process to ensure customer demands are met. Their duties include maximizing efficiency, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee smooth production of required volumes, monitor output and quality.
- Take responsibility for safety, risk prevention, and compliance with health regulations.
- Start, shut down, and adjust equipment under supervision.
- Adjust plant control variables and manage process equipment parameters to meet production specifications.
- Develop knowledge of air separation theory and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, evaluate process upsets, and take corrective actions.
- Participate in maintenance and updating of plant and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain production records.
- Perform daily routines including water treatment, equipment inspection, and log sheet reading.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation/TEI or higher.
- Experience in a production line is an advantage.
- Good command of risk management and prevention.
- Solid grasp of health and safety rules.
- Strong focus on Safety.
- Good judgment and keen on taking initiative.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to seek information and communicate effectively.
We operate 24/7 at our new Air Separation Unit in Sindos. Work experience: 1-2 years. This role manages no other people and is a permanent job.
