We are looking for a passionate
Editor.
This position requires creative, observant people with a background in English language education. You will be responsible for ensuring that our books meet the highest standards of quality before they are published. You will collaborate with our authors and the management of the Editing team to ensure that all content is well-organized, error-free, and clearly written.

Key Responsibilities:

As an ELT Editor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the linguistic quality, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness of our educational materials. Your tasks will include:

  • Reviewing and editing ELT content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriateness for learners
  • Proofreading manuscripts at all stages of development (print and digital)
  • Collaborating with authors and editorial staff to refine structure, style, and tone
  • Ensuring all texts follow established ELT methodology and learning objectives
  • Checking exercises and activities for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with language level
  • Liaising with typesetters and designers to ensure final layout quality
  • Contributing to content development and improvement where needed

Requirements:

We are looking for a language-focused individual who has:

  • A university degree in English Language, English Literature, English Philology, or a related field
  • Native speaker or excellent command of written English and a solid understanding of ELT methodologies
  • 2+ years proven work experience in publishing sector as an Editor
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Competence in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) and basic internet research
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently
  • Proven work experience in publishing sector
  • Well organized, detail oriented and analytical. Able to work in a high volume, complex and fast-paced publishing pipeline.
