Piraeus Port Authority S.A. is an Athens Stock Exchange listed company engaged in the management and operation of Piraeus port, Greece's largest port and one of the largest integrated harbors in Europe, providing a complete range of services. Some of the company's activities involve cruise, coastal (ferry/passenger), container and car terminal services, as well as ship repair, logistics and free zone services. The main shareholder of Piraeus Port Authority S.A., with a stake of 67 percent, is COSCO SHIPPING, one of the largest maritime companies in the world. P.P.A. Currently, we are looking to bring on board a qualified IT Security Engineer for the IT & BPS Department
What you will need to do:
- Support the implementation of security policies and compliance measures to protect the company's information systems
- Configure and maintain security infrastructure such as firewalls, IPS, WAF, NAC, EDR, email security, etc
- Monitor, investigate, respond and report to security incidents and cyber-attacks
- Ensure safe, efficient and smooth execution of all operations
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, including risk analysis and remediation
- Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures
- Research innovative technologies and investigate industry security best practices
- Contribute to the delivery of cybersecurity awareness training to employees
- Prepare security reports for Company, auditors and regulatory authorities
What skills you will need:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, related IT field
- 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in security technologies (e.g., FW, IPS, NAC, EDR, M365, encryption)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security tools
- Familiarity with security policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Preferred certifications: CEH, Microsoft Security, Professional security certifications
- Very good English communication skills (written & spoken)
- Teamwork, ability to collaborate on different projects - Commitment to continuous learning and development - Creativity and innovation - Analytical and synthetic thinking
