The Goal

OpenBet are looking for an exceptional QA Lead with strong skills in Agile

Development and Testing, to join one of our customers' team in a rapid

development environment creating bespoke and customized automated

testing solutions across complex, high transactional Sportsbook systems.

As a QA Lead with us, you will have exposure to these systems and more, as

you take our products and your career to the next level.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define levels of test coverage for deliverables, in line with product
• requirements and associated SLAs
• Working with the Project Manager or Release Manager to help plan and
• give accurate status updates on test tasks & progress
• Assist with Test preparation, execution, monitoring & control for
• software delivery & releases
• Managing and reporting quality metrics
• Ensure that the processes follow QA/QE best practices wherever possible
• Ensuring structured feedback is provided to the development teams
• Line management & mentor QA team members including formal reviews
• Contribute to the implementation of Test automation strategy

The Player

Qualifications

• A Technical background – BSc or equivalent in IT/Engineering/Scientific
• or related discipline
• Experience in SW development life cycle, software testing
• Experience in creating Test plans, review work items, allocate tasks to
• team members & prioritisation
• Experience in leading test activities for projects & creation of test plans
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills with strong
• attention to detail
• Should have worked in a leading role or managing a small group of
• developers/testers within organisation
• A working understanding of Docker, Ansible, Maven, Jenkins and/or Git
• would be useful
• Experience in Cucumber, Selenium and OR similar automated
• tools/frameworks
• Knowledge of Test Case management tools such as Test Rail, Zephyr
• Familiarity working on Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows VM
• Proven communication and presentation skills
• Should be opinionated, especially about quality and test frameworks
• Must be comfortable dealing with change
• It would also be great to see these skills/experiences as well:
• Hands-on experience on development, coding, using automated test
• tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, QTP, Postman, etc
• Familiarisation of CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as Locust
• Qualified to ISEB/ISTQB Intermediate level
